Do I need a Stripe account?
You create one during setup. Stripe asks for your details and bank account, then deposits go straight to it and Stripe pays them out to your bank. Teoum never holds your money.
Are there any other fees?
Stripe charges its standard card processing fee on each deposit. Teoum adds nothing on top and takes no percentage.
What do my clients pay?
Only the deposit you set for each service, when they book. You collect the rest at the appointment however you normally do.
What happens if a client needs to change or cancel?
They can move their appointment once using the link in their confirmation, up to the cutoff you set. To cancel they contact you, and when you cancel in Teoum their deposit is refunded automatically.
Will my clients get marketing texts?
No. Only texts about their own appointment, and only if they ticked the box when booking. Replying STOP ends them.
What is the setup fee for?
We set your account up with you: services, prices, hours, buffer times and Stripe. It's charged once.
