Booking software for businesses of one
Most booking software is built for salons: a front desk, several chairs, staff schedules. A barber renting a chair, a personal trainer or a freelance tutor has none of that. You work alone, and booking requests arrive by text while your hands are full.
Teoum is built for that day. One operator, one calendar, breathing room between appointments, and a deposit up front so a booked slot means a client who shows up.
How we build it
Your money goes to you
Deposits are charged on your own Stripe account and paid out to your bank by Stripe. Teoum never holds them and takes no percentage.
Your clients stay yours
Each business's client list is kept separate from every other business on Teoum. No other business can see it, and it's never sold.
Texts only with permission
Clients get appointment texts only if they tick the box, and never marketing. One reply of STOP ends them.
Times you can trust
Overlapping bookings are refused by the database itself, and appointments stay at the right time across daylight-saving changes.
Who runs Teoum
Teoum is built and operated by James Jin, a sole proprietor in New Jersey. It’s a small operation on purpose: when you write in, you hear back from the person who builds it.
